I started at KPMG and spent 12 years in both audit and accounting advisory before working in accounting roles at CBRE and DigitalBridge. I find the future of AI interesting. With all the talk about AI taking our jobs, it still has a long way to go before it can be trusted and reliable, although it is fairly decent at dressing up a selfie —>

In the meantime, I am constantly experimenting with the tools available in the market that can make accounting, finance, taxes and managing investments as efficient and accurate as possible. I expect constant changes over the next 5-10 years with new products, acquisitions, failures, etc. in the space so I will be kept on my toes for the foreseeable future.

When I’m not working, I tend to participate in more adventurous hobbies if time allows, from scuba diving to ski mountaineering. These days, with a three‑year‑old running the show, my main hobby has become running—but I did manage to get him on skis this year, so the future is looking promising for more adventures. I am currently working on running a marathon in every state with a few longer races here and there for good measure.
